Singspiration

We have had such a great time with Singspiration we will continue to be worshiping in the evening on the last Sunday of each month. We will begin at 6:30 with congragational singing. Some of the old standards and some of the more modern contemparary songs of the faith. It will be a time of lifting our voices and hearts to the Lord, praising Him for the blessings he has given us. There will be some testimonies mixed in to testify to the love that God has for us. We will then have a guest preacher speak, bringing a word from God. This promises to be a night of blessing for all. Please come and join us in worship at our Singspiration

Sunday Evening Bible Study

Sunday evening bible study will be starting back up for the winter season. It is a goodtime of fellowship in the study of God's word. Please join us in this small group study at the church. We begin at 6:00. It is informal in nature and we go away with a renewed understanding and and ability to apply God's word to our lives.

Family Game Night

We are planning to have family game nights at Fellowship this year. The idea is to get families that are usually too busy to set time aside to spend together to come to church and have a time of food and fun with one another. Family Game Night will be on Friday night February 12 from 6:30 till 8:30. Please join us for a great time.

 THOUGHTS FROM THE PASTOR

As we are in the season of Advent I am excited by the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am also mindful of the fact that we need to be looking forward to His next coming. This is somthing that I am sure we don't concider in our daily life tasks. The business of the holidays and the economic climate adds to the stress.

In reading the accounts of the weeks before Jesus birth I am reminded of the faith Mary and Elizabeth had and not only that but the obiedience that they and Joseph displayed. These people lived in trying time just like we do and their faith and love for God helped them through. We need to take an example from them today.

First in faith. Believing in God and his word. Then in prayer. Spending time with God is a good source of comfort and peace. The result will be obidience. Loving your neighbor, being at peace with those who aggrivate you. Doing kind thinks to people. This is easy at Christmas because it's that time of year but I want to tell you that we need to do these things all year long. Advent and Christmas should be every day in our lives not just once a year.

My hope and prayer is that each and every one has a Merry Christmas

God's Blessings

Pastor Ray
